I played the original Kirby on my game boy in the 90s. Decided to get this game for my sons who have not played video games before. They do great with this game…just a couple of times playing with me and they now work together on 2 player mode. The second player character doesn’t have as many abilities as first player but he also just automatically catches up to Kirby if they get separated and that feature is great for my younger son. My son loves this game! He is 6 and finds it fun and easy enough for him to play through the levels on his own. Would recommend to any lover of Kirby or Mario.

    • Kirby is super fun; Co-op with young son fun too
I loved Kirby as a kid in the 90s and I love it as a middle aged adult now. This is one of my favorite games for the switch in recent memory. I am probably about 2/3s through the main story, and I find my self replaying levels all the time to get all of the unlockables. Let me just say, that the Co-op feature in this game is awesome for a dad to play with his young children. The second play, plays as a bandana waddle dee with a spear and some good attacks. The second player will get warped to you if they are not going the right way or following kirby. I am able to play through with my 4 year old, although he can manage as kirby in the begining levels just fine. I also am able to play with my 2.5 year old daughter and she will just run around and warp to me when she falls behind. It has been a wonderful way to bond with my children. I have a renewed love for this game and I really enjoy being able to play co op local screen with my young kids. ... show more

Whats not to like about Kirby in general? Controlling a cute pink ball destroying enemies trying to save the waddle-dees. I bought this for my daughter and she was thrilled to open it during Christmas, matched it with a Kirby plush & case? Wonderful sight to see. I highly recommend this game to anyone, even adults! ... show more
