We're getting to that stage where my toddler has strong opinions on a lot of things, including what to wear. However, when I showed this outfit to him and mentioned that it was Mario brothers, he instantly wanted to wear it (side note, even though I grew up with video games, I have not introduced them to him yet, so I believe he learned about some of these characters at his daycare). Anyway, we got the 4T size, even though my boy typically wears 3T, and it came out a little large (but again, that was expected). I don't mind though, because it allows for room to grow, and it is not egregiously baggy, so he can still enjoy wearing them now. Anyway, the cotton material is soft (admittedly, not plush, but smooth and comfortable enough), and the designs are vibrant. The Mario/Luigi hologram is a fun touch, despite the lenticular patch being a bit rough (it adds to my toddler's enjoyment, so I can't necessarily knock on it). This Super mario brothers shirt by Nintendo is great. The quality is nice, feels comfy, and looks even better in person. I like that it has a lenticular image that changes from Mario to Luigi depending on which way you look at it. The sizing is accurate. I ordered a size 4 for my 2 year old since he wears 4T and was only size available, and it fit perfectly! I was worried when it came in that it would be too short and big on him, but once I put it on, it looked great. I like that the shorts even have adjustable straps. This short set is perfect for a little boy. The material is soft with no hard seams. An inspection of the seams showed that the seams are tight with no loose threads.     • It looks fantastic but the sizing
I got this for my son's upcoming 6th birthday. The set looks truly amazing, but sizing is an issue. First, I was sent the wrong size. I requested a 7 and got an 8. A 7 would have been big but he could have grown into it fairly quickly. The 8, straight out of the package, was huge. Looking at it, he wouldn't have been able to wear it at all for at least another year. I washed it with the mindset of maybe putting it up until next year. However, the shirt shrunk so much it's now the size I ordered. The shorts also shrunk, just maybe not as much. I think he's going to love the outfit but there is a big question to how it's going to fit. ... show more
