I got this for my son (5 years old), and it’s been one of those rare toys that keeps his attention and gets him running around outside. What makes it fun: The stomp-and-launch concept is simple but really effective. Kids jump on the launcher and watch the foam dinosaur rockets shoot up—it’s instant feedback and excitement every time. The dinosaur theme is a nice bonus, especially if your child is into dinosaurs like mine. Setup and usability: Assembly took just a couple of minutes, no tools needed. Everything clicks together easily, and the launcher feels stable enough once set up. It’s also lightweight and folds down, so we’ve taken it to the park without any hassle. Performance: The rockets can go surprisingly high (definitely high enough to impress kids), and they’re soft enough that I’m not worried about safety. The adjustable angles add a bit of variety, which keeps it from getting repetitive too quickly. If you’re looking for an inexpensive toy that EVERY kid loves, look no further. We had several kids ranging from 3-8 playing with this for about an hour. The boys loved that the rockets were dinosaurs. Each of them had fun showing off their “moves” when stomping the pad. The rockets launch pretty high. If they do hit one of the kids, it didn’t hurt or cause injury. Two of the rockets did lose a wing, but we just glued them back on. ... show more

I bought two. One set for my son and one for his friend. Ours is holding up but their's busted within two hours - the foot pump/bag thing split. But very much enjoyable toy for them.

Great idea, but the execution isn't there. These are purchase for my four year old grandson. If he stomps on it it barely goes anywhere. If we stop on it it'll go a couple feet off the ground. Also the dinosaurs themselves are very cheaply made and easily break. It provided fun for about an hour and a half. ... show more
