Appears to be a thicker more substantial fabric than other covers I have purchased. Rough texture. Well Made. Sheds water but I would not call it waterproof. Prolonged water exposure will penetrate when I tested it. I am using a small trash bag to help waterproof the cushion inside. Hidden zipper is a nice touch. Be a little careful when stuffing pillow or cushion into cover. I had NO problems but I can see how it could rip at zipper if you force it through the smaller opening. I used cover for an alternate purpose to protect a memory foam seat cushion for my kayak. I would purchase again. I can't speak to UV resistance and color fading yet but what does not fade in the relentless New Mexico sunshine over time. ... show more

I’ve had these out for a bit and they still look brand new, not faded. Obviously material that is sun and rain resistant. Went right over my pillows that were worn out. I paired with other cute pillows and love the color pop.

    • Nice outdoor pillow covers but black starting to fade just a bit after about a month of use.

The zippers worked great, seams nice and smooth, but the black ones have started to fade just a little and turning an odd shade of dark purple? I don't think this would be a problem with a lighter color, though.
