I bought these because they're an ultra-high-rise and come in a variety of inseam lengths. I am on the tallish side, with a long rise. Usually, trousers hit me right well below my navel and are never long enough due to my height and the length of my rise. That makes me look even dumpier and frumpier than I am but also its also just a terribly uncomfortable fit. The fit is really nice on these, they hit me where my waist once was (I'm built like a cylinder these days, used to be an hourglass in my youth). The pleats lay flat and don't draw attention to my post-change of life apron belly. They actually give me a much slimmer, even taller appearance. The length is accurate. Legs are indeed wide. Fabric has a nice drape. It is HEAVY. I was hoping for lighter, something I could wear through the heat and humidity of summer here, but these are very heavy. That said, they'll be great for autumn and winter. I bought them in 'light' grey (It isn't that light a grey, it's more of a medium) and black, but I can't imagine the very light colors could possibly be see through given the thickness of the fabric. They have been washed and dried. No shrinkage is noticed. All the wrinkles and creases from packaging and shipping fell right out. They came out of the dryer looking beautiful. ... show more

When I first opened these pants, I was thrilled: I love the cut and the fit, pleating, and the way they hang. Perfect weight – not too thick or thin - warm enough in cold office building AC yet cool enough for outside in a hot climate. I could tell they weren’t the best quality ever but for the price point I was satisfied. However, the stitching in the button was very poorly done when I received it and now after just a *few* washes, there is significant pilling. I’m quite disappointed and wish I’d returned these when I had the chance - no matter how cute they are if they only last a few washes before looking worn it’s a waste of money and time. ... show more

Update: got the XXL. I really want to love these pants :'( but the back "pockets" are in a very weird position for me (way too low), and the front still digs in to make an unseemly shape in the crotch, even though this size is perfect for me. Just loose enough all around. I still LOVE the shape it gives in the back, the comfort, the overall look, but I don't think I can get past those back pockets. They are just too weird. It might just be my body type, my lower back fat just joins my butt in one big party, but other 'plus' girls might have the same issue, so I'll leave those 2 cents in. I got both Tawny and Brown in XXL. You can compare the colors (I would call them taupe and camel instead...) The Dark Grey is XL. Original Post: I really loved the fit of these pants: they make my butt look great, the width of the leg is just right, the way it angles into the waist makes it flattering, while the pleats and stretch fabric make it comfortable. I don't love that it is polyester because I think it's not very breatheable, but I have to make do. My measurements: Height: 5'4.5" (164cm) Waist: 36" - 39" (varies a lot) Hips: 49" Thigh circumference: 30" (i think this was the issue for me) Weight approx. 215lbs Sadly I had to return this size XL because it is just at the threshold of too tight and just perfect, but definitely the front part doesnt look good when I move. Finally! Work pants for a great price. I was having the hardest time finding work pants that weren’t see through, were long enough, and comfortable - and here they are! These have a great fabric, both soft and solid (not see through at all!). I’ve seen and tried the Halara pants, and these are so much better (in my opinion) and cheaper! I’m between sizes 10/12, and am 5’7”. I prefer a looser feel, and found comfort with the 12 Long. The longs hit my shoes just at the top, and do not drag. That goes for heels and sneakers. If I wear flats, the just touch the ground. I purchased the navy blue, light grey, and black, and they all hold color well and do not bleed - that’s with a cold wash and dryer (and they haven’t shrunk!) These have a button, clasp, and zipper. Deep pockets! (Not crazy deep, but my whole hand can fit in the pocket). The high waist is comfortable - right above my belly button and doesn’t hurt my ribs (iykyk). ... show more

I absolutely loved these. They were stretchy, but it wasn’t obvious that they were. The size is very accurate. I’m five for 115 and I did a small long which would be perfect. If you plan on wearing heels with these like I did but if you plan on wearing flats and your 54 I would get regular small. The fabric is amazing. It is not very heavy, but it’s not thin at all. It’s very good material. The comfort is amazing for the price of these pants. I do think they’re worth it. ... show more
