This is a great lightbar for the price. I am impressed with the quality especially for being quite a bit cheaper than some of the other options. I was specifically looking for a curved bar this time as well as having a black background. The 42 inch bar fit perfectly across the top of my windshield on a 2021 Ford Bronco. I really like the look on this truck. The lightbar did tend to whistle after install, and it was most noticeable with the soft top back. “Easy to install” is correct but it had very little to do with the light bar. A wiring kit and switch are necessary to install the light bar and once those are purchased, I guess the install is easy. Value for money is huge, similar light bars that might not even look as nice as this one can go for $600 - $800+. This bar is very well built and looks great when installed. It’s bright. I don’t know how it compares to the very expensive light bars but I can’t imagine them being too much brighter than this one. It has spots on the outside and floods on the inside, it lights up my surroundings amazing. For the price it’s worth it. I put this on my can am defender max. Light does a good job illuminating in front of machine, very pleased with the output. Mounting bolts had to be changed to some with a hex head so I could get them tight. There is no room to get a backup wrench on the top of the bolt when tightening. I think it was meant that the mounting base would lock in the bolt head but it doesn't do that very well if you are really torqueing them down. The curved light is a little harder to mount correctly than the straight ones. I had to ream the holes in the roof out a little to get the mounting brackets to hit the side of the lights flat after adjusting the light to the correct angle. I'm not sure the curved light throws a wider pattern than a straight lightbar but I think they look better. Haven't had them long enough to speak to the durability in the weather. Update, after 2 1/2 years no water but the led lights are starting to go out. May need to replace soon. Probably go with the superbright one of similar size with a lifetime warranty. ... show more

Over the last few years, LED light bars have transitioned from just a tool to see at night to a cosmetic detail for a vehicle. In regards to using it as a lighting tool, I do not baby this light. I take it off the beaten path and off shoots where a light can be the difference between driving off a hill or coming home unscathed. This light is super bright and has a spot light in the front while having some flood for the sides. The two different types of lights provide some visual depth at night. If you have ever driven off road, you know that visual depth is hugely important to see the different between a dip, rut, or "vehicle eating" hole :). This light also looks great when not in use. I have received several compliments in just the last two weeks that I have had it. It does not have the clear typical light bar that you see from most vendors. This has a contrasting look with a black background with white light emitters. Considering the price, you would never think it was not a major brand. Lastly, something I didn't expect but received was great customer service. NION, one of the vendors that sells this light, stands by their product. When I encountered an issue, they were quick to reply and fix the problem. I would not hesitate purchasing this light from them. So when things get dark and gloomy, there is no longer a need to light up the Batman logo to call for help, simply power this LED light and it will light up any dark forces you may encounter! :P ... show more

I had an available 20A circuit on my rig (with a switch and fuse already in place) so I chose this 240W LED light. Works perfectly and shows a draw of about 220W. Very bright. For less than ⅒ the price of the premium brands, I'm happy. Hopefully it won't flake out on me right when I really need it, but I'm willing to take that risk. ... show more

Update after 1 year: So after a year of pretty heavy usage these lights, just like the rest that I've had from this brand, have been great and I've been very satisfied! They're still as bright as they were when I first got them. I've added some pictures of them on from tonight after a year of being installed to show the brightness. Although the pictures don't do them justice, they've still been amazing! Definitely still 5 stars and would absolutely recommend them! First off I have loved this brand for a very long time and have been very satisfied with their products and the quality of their products. Secondly, I have never had any issues with any of the light bars I've gotten from them. And I've had a LOT of them. I finally had a 50" start to have some of the led chips go out but after about 8 years of heavy usage. I bought two of the 42" light bars and made some custom mounts to run dual 42" bars above my windshield and man do they make a difference at night. Money well spent once again. ... show more
