I purchased a pair of these lights. Very bright for the size so I purchased another pair but when I opened the box, all that was in the box was the mounting brackets. No lights in the box so I had to call Amazon to get another package. Hopefully it will actually have the lights in the box this time.

I bought these to replace my lights in the rear bumper of my Jeep because the old ones didn’t really light up well. These light up very well; so well in fact that if you are standing behind my Jeep in broad daylight they will hurt your eyes. On the trail I am able to see behind me very well if I have to back up at night. Another nice feature is when someone is driving behind you with brights lights on, you can flash these and most of the time they get the message. One time I had a driver behind me with brights on and I flashed and nothing. I just turned them on and left them on and you should have seen how quickly he backed off about 1/2 mile. If you can build a ship in a bottle, you can assemble these mounts. Lights are much smaller than you expect. Look at pic, you have to get those nuts started insude the holes with a small allen wrench, you can only turn about 30 degs at a time. Be very patient !

We were looking for lights to add to the existing holes of our Ferris IS2100Z mower as we tend to mow later in the evenings/after work and get caught by the dark sometimes. These fit perfectly in the existing holes and I purchased the same brand the wiring kit with rocker switch, too. Our Ferris already had a blank for the rocker switch and two hot connections in the ignition box - one hot all the time and one hot when the key was on. I used the one where it was hot when the key was on. Everything went together easily and the lights are more than bright enough for mowing. I've only had it installed for a month or so, so not sure on durability yet. But, I do power wash off the mower every other mowing or so and haven't had any issues with water yet nor any issues with dust or vibration. We did hit somethign with one of the lights at some point and bent one of the brackets, but it still works fine and I didn't want to bend it back to keep in case it would break. I did take one star off because of the bracket to light assembly - it is a pain and takes some patience. ... show more
