I'm a fan of Nilight products. There isn't one item that I have got from them that I didn't like. This leveling kit is machined from a solid chunk of metal and is very strong. I upgraded to 33" tires on my stock FJ Cruiser. I've read that some people have issues with rubbing so I grabbed this leveling kit just in case. Aside from preventing rubbing issues, a level kit can make your vehicle look and ride a little better when you level the front to the back. Fortunately for me, there were no rubbing issues with my FJ and for some strange reason, my FJ already sits perfectly level so I didn't need to install these. I'm going to hang on to these in the off chance that my front end starts to sage but I don't foresee that happening.

This is a good quality leveling kit for a very good price. I am very mechanically inclined being that I worked on aircraft as a mechanic for over 24 years. Installation was easy for me but I can see how it could be difficult for others. This is a very good kit for the price.

After the installation,And alignment I noticed that the spacers make a noise hitting along the shock tower. I dislike it because I put it on my new truck and out my new truck sounds like a hoopty.

After installing this onto my cousin's 2nd gen Tacoma. I can say that this item works well and its description is right on. The only problem was installation wasn't easy without the right tools needed, even with a piece of paper guiding us on how to install it, it was sorta difficult.

This is a very nicely machined spacer and comes with the correct style of hardened bolts. This is an inexpensive solution to level your 4runner. I'm quite impressed with the full color instructions as well!

Got these for my 2019 4runner. The construction and milling of these spacers looks and feels solid. Arrived without any damage or issues. The instructions are decent as well; they are not super descriptive, but you get the idea of what needs to be done in order to install successfully. You will require a new alignment after install, so be sure to budget for that.

I have a 2014 4Runner and have always felt like the front end was lower than the back. Sure enough, this is the OEM design for a 4runner. After discovering this leveling kit, I did a lot of research to see other kits on the market and the end results from those that have installed them. I decided to give this kit a try. I had a successful install and I'm very pleased with the results. My 4 runner is even now from front to back. But, it wasn't without some pros and cons. First off, the good.... The kit is made from a high-quality CNC milled and powder coated metal. It has holes perfectly aligned to the top of the 4Runner (and I assume Tacoma) strut assembly. So installing this thing should be a piece of cake once you can get your strut off. The kit comes with solid bolts, flat washers and lock washers that attach the lift spacer to the frame of the car itself. These are quality components and I don't have any fear with them going on my suspension. The end result is exactly what I was hoping for. It raised my front end from 34.5" to 36" at the highest point of the wheel well. This is even with the back wheels now. 1.5" doesn't sound like much, but it is definitely noticable when you consider the length of a 4runner. Now, the not so good... The instructions are a one-pager with a handful of photos and parts circled. If you're a mechanic or auto technician and you perform strut replacements daily in your job, installing these should be easy. If you're a home user with little equipment or experience, this will be a nightmare. But, that's with any kit like this, not specific to this one. So, you should know what you're getting into by deciding to remove your struts. I'm somewhere in the middle. I'm very handy, have lots of tools, and don't mind learning a new repair. That being said, what I expected to be 2 hours, ended up being about 5. I recommend you spend some time watching YouTube videos of this project before you decide to buy the kit. This way, you know what to expect and how long it should take. My issue was getting 10 year old nuts unstuck first, then having enough leverage in my prybar to move the lower control arm down for ingress/egress of the strut assembly. Again, not the fault of the kit, and you'll have these issues with any of them. However, the instructions could have been much clearer on the steps needed. One key area that should have been addressed in the instructions is when it comes to the position of the strut after install. Because you're rotating the top of the strut to reinstall it using the factory holes on the suspension with your new bolts that are offset from the factory stud position, you'll have to rotate the strut. I rotated my first one to the next hole (60 degrees). The top installed fine, but then I had to manually rotate the bottom of the strut to align in the control arm. This caused the strut to lengthen about a half inch over OEM spec. On the second strut, I realized you can turn the whole assembly 180% around, still use the factory holes on the frame, and the bottom of the strut still aligns with the control arm slot. Big duh moment for me there. So, I had to go back to the first strut, remove it, turn the strut back to OEM position, and then reinstall 180 degrees opposite. Otherwise, my driver's side would have been 1/2 inch taller than my passenger's side. TLDR: Great kit, solid construction, challenging install for a novice, instructions could be much clearer.
