I bought this umbrella even though it had no reviews based on the price. I wanted a larger collapsible umbrella for my car (my Equinox has umbrella storage in the door. I was looking at models that were twice as expensive. So, I figured even if this one was shoddily made, I wouldn't be out all that much. After receiving it I am pleasantly surprised that it seems very sturdy and well made. The opening/closing mechanism seems firm and strong hold. The ribs and shaft seem stiff yet flexible enough not to break in strong wind. And the double canopy layers seem very tight as to let air out but not water in. The only downsides I see at this point are a) the size is not quite as large as other collapsible golf umbrellas, but I knew that going in. Also, it was a little tough to get the umbrella back into it's protective sleeve. I really had to work at it to get it back in there. But all-in-all, minor complaints and I am very happy with my purchase. I will update this review after I've had a chance to use it a few times but I thought this might be helpful to someone else considering this umbrella. If you are, I would say go for it. I think you'll be surprised by how much you like it.

I bought this umbrella to keep in my car for those rainy days. I work in sales and my car is my office. The umbrella is compact, making it easy to store in my car door storage compartment. Once open, it’s quite big and provides excellent coverage even in heavy rain. It was able to withstand the wind without turning inside out. I can easily open it with one hand. Closing requires two hands. The umbrella is well made and has some weight to it. I’ll take the added weight over something lightweight and flimsy. I have gone through my share of umbrellas, I’m really pleased with this umbrella. It has stood up to several rain storms so far and seems to be ready to sustain a number more.

Nothing negative to say about this umbrella. I bought it for an outdoor date night where rain was likely. It was big enough to keep us both dry and small enough to store in the console of my truck. Very happy with the purchase.

VERY GOOD QUALITY: Sturdy in heavy rain, well made, and the material is nice throughout - for example, the soft-touch handle is great. It's easy to carry and takes up very little space, but the umbrella is big enough to cover you. Great quality at a great price too.

This must be a joke because this umbrella is supposed to withstand windy weather but right out of the box, the handle wobbles and the umbrella never fully expands. The result is that the umbrella goes up and down like a spring. Not sturdy at all. There are better options at cheaper prices than this. I'm returning this.
