Love these shoes! Seriously like them so much that I bought them in a second color. I wear them to work in hospital and spend 12+ hours on my feet with great support. I’m a big fan of the comfort footbed and the fact that you can slide them on and run out the door.

I thought the band across the shoe had a velcro or some such closing, but it does not. So I guess you are suppose to somehow reach under the thick, tight band, loosen the shoelaces, squeeze your foot in, again lift the band and pull up/tighten the laces and tie them(which is awkward doing under the band). Very bad design. I returned them.

I wore this to work every day for 5 months, walking 4-8miles a day as a mail carrier. They got soaking wet and dried with a fan at least 5 times. I’m very impressed with how well they held up. And (maybe because all black) didn’t look very old. After 4 months the foam insoles began falling out and at 5 months my toes started digging a “hole” on the inside while the bottoms wore away. Was so impressed how they held up for so long I bought another pair. My first impression was: Very tight, after wearing for a while it becomes uncomfortable. Can’t loosen it up like other shoes because of the band. I’m not a wide shoe wearer either, I have narrow feet to start and they’re still tight. But I guess after wearing them a lot They broke in more and I didn’t notice it anymore, but it took a while. Would definitely buy again (and did).

I have a job where I am on my feet for hours, and I also do a fair amount of walking at my university. I haven’t tried working out or running in these yet. They feel a bit tight and awkward putting them on and wearing them for the first 5-10 minutes, but I have only worn them for 3 days so far. I barely notice they are there after the first 10 minutes, and I feel so much comfort and support from these that I am so upset I didn’t look for a more comfortable shoe sooner. I bought supportive inserts for my last sneakers and they did literally nothing for me in comparison to these. Wearing them feels like I have stiff, supportive pillows under my feet, and I no longer have foot/ankle pains after work. Also, they are really nice to look at. I could not recommend them any more.

These have great arch support but weren't the right level of support for me when running. I have fussy, pretty rigid feet so finding a comfortable running shoe is like searching the haystack for a needle. I am on my feet and walking all day at work with a daily average of 15k steps so a comfortable shoe is required. I was not disappointed with these, they have been great for dance fitness classes and weight lifting.

Lots of reviews say the band is very tight. I bought them for this reason. The band is loose. I can put two fingers underneath. The paper that was balled up to keep the shoe form most likely stretched it out. I am not able to size down in the shoe or my toe will hit the front of the shoe. All Nike shoes I have ever owned have been the size that I ordered with no issue. To me, the band is just for show. The heal is slightly higher than the front of the shoe (if that makes sense) and I can feel it a bit in my ankles. I do not recommend buying for heavy weight lifting or long distance walking. They are comfy for the activities I do and have decided to keep them!
