I love Nikes but my child has a wider foot and most Nikes are narrow. There was one kind that fit him and they are discontinued, so I was thrilled to see this cute and stylish shoe available in wide. However when they came they were not marked "wide" but just regular. They fit like the regular fit so too tight. I sent back and reordered since Amazon said it was just an error. But the same thing happened. I noticed that I select "wide" but when I put it in my cart, in the cart it no longer says "wide". So I don't think the wide exists and it's just an error in the system. I wanted to write a review so that others will know that this is an issue. I was disappointed because it's a nice shoe otherwise.

I’m returning these sneakers. These are the 2nd pair I bought for my son. The 1st pair lasted 3 weeks before there were holes in top mesh. The 2nd pair lasted 2 weeks before holes appeared in the same spot.

My 7 year old is not a large kid by any means, he's actually pretty skinny, with skinny legs too. The velcro strap over the top of the ankle on these is definitely not long enough. So while it closes fine when the shoe is not being worn, once you put a kids foot in there with a sock it's tough to get it these pieces to stay down while they are running and jumping.. which of course for a 7 year old boy is ALL the time. Cute shoe, love the style, love the colors, even the price isnt too outrageous.. but I did wish that top piece would stay connected, instead of popping open all day.

I like how light weight the shoes are and they have a fair amount of cushion in the foot bed. They also have some tread on the bottom which seems to be lacking in a lot of athletic shoes these days. I bought a size 3 for my just turned 9 year old boy. I think he is really between a 2.5 and a 3. There is room for him to grow a little. He has a NARROW foot and they fit him well.

My son has been wearing Nike sneakers ever since he could walk. He’s 8.5 years old now, so we’ve seen a lot of different models and sizes. This pair is hands down the worst. I would venture to say the design is defective. The Velcro closure doesn’t reach all the way over his foot to secure on the other side! At first I thought he hadn’t pulled the tongue out or was putting the shoe on incorrectly, but after some examination, I could see that it just wasn’t designed right! My son has a skinny/average body frame and not fat feet and this is how it would fit if he had super fat feet. Can’t believe Nike let me down with theses.

My daughter who has a lot of sensory issues and is extremely picky (especially when it comes to clothes and shoes) needed new sneakers for the summer. My husband and I love our Nikes and with the inability to go in store, we took the chance and ordered online. She absolutely loved them. Took no time at all to break in (she started wearing them right away with no issue). I do believe they are a size or so big on her but she loves them and they do not slip off her feet at all. Her feet are slender with a high arch. As always, the product is a high quality Nike product (my last pair lasted me almost 5 years before ripping in the toes - mild to moderate activity level). Hopefully this review helps those looking!
