I also purchased the Adidas Terrex (too big and stiff) and the Merrell Moab (too big, stiff and very uncomfortable), but returned both. A friend recommended these Nikes and I was very pleased!

Waterproof, Nice running shoe. Lateral support very weak, feet roll a bit on rough trails. But low to ground so don't roll over foot. Therefore they need material on the insole to hold feet in place better. Not a cushion ride. Doesn't propel forward, but doesn't pull you back into heels, and lightweight, so running shoes they are.
