I had three pair of the Alpha 5 trainers and used them exclusively for weight lifting, no cardio, etc. having been very happy with them I added the Trainer 6 as my next pair, I actually prefer the 5 over the 6 but they are solid shoes, most likely I’m just so comfortable in the 5 it will take a little time. I plan to buy a second pair of the 6 as soon as today or tomorrow, so I do like them.

So far so good no problems as of yet. I had two pair of Alpha trainer 5s after several months. Both of my shoes made a popping/squeaking sound. Very disappointed in the alpha 5s. Keeping my fingers crossed that these will not do the same.
