I bought these shoes for my 13-year-old son, who typically wears a size 9. However, I found that this particular brand runs smaller than expected, leaving him feeling quite snug in the shoes. Unfortunately, on their very first day of wear, they encountered a mishap when another child accidentally stepped on his foot, which resulted in some dirt and marks on the shoes. If I could rate less I probably would, except my son loves these. In less than 6 months of wearing them, they are ripped/holes in them and the soles shifted. This is not normal wear and tear - something had to be wrong. I have a pair and my daughter and we all have holes in the same spots.
