The Nike Dunk High 85 “Yellow Acid Wash” is a modern take on the vintage basketball shoe that replicates the model’s original 1985 shape and look. The “Yellow Acid Wash” is one of several colorways of the Dunk High 85 that have been released since 2021, others being the “Red Acid Wash” and “Orange Acid Wash.” The base, which includes the perforated toe, mid-panel, collar, and heel, is designed in black leather. From there, the panels are displayed in a yellow acid wash. A Varsity Maize leather Swoosh is found on either side of the shoe. The Dunk High 85’s tongue is noticeably taller than the tongue found on more recent editions of the shoe. An old school “Nike” logo with a yellow Swoosh is found on the tongue tag. The rubber midsole is painted yellow to replicate the look of oxidation. Release date: February 23, 2022
