I had the red and black ones first, they are really nice, are water proof, and lasted me for several years, the price spiked from 60 dollars to 80 and stuff like that since covid, i got the cheapest pair which was the blue and black and they are really nice too, also water proof, and has some nice different details from the red one, these shoes are very comfortable, i use them everyday, one thing with the blue ones is that they have a squeak when walking, I guess the leather in some part squeaks with the friction, i would not use them to run, since they are mostly leather, they would probably start cracking, if you want to run, get regular running Nikes, these ones are just to casually walk comfortably ... show more

I was coming off cheap knock off brands, and this was the first name brand shoe I'd invested in since I was in the army over 10 years ago. I live in my work shoes every day. I'm on my feet all day long, working in a center with high-magnitufe behavior special needs and autistic kiddos. I need shoes that I can run in, balance in, shoes that help me stabilize myself and others, and are comfy after 10-12 hour days of indoor and outdoor use. I buy a new pair every year, sometimes 2. I wear them into the ground. They are well made and they fit my big size 12w feet, and don't break down even though my weight fluctuates and I'm 350-400 lbs in a given year. ... show more

    • Nice! Also no squeak so far!
I bought these for my boyfriend who is a Nike snob. Now lets be honest, Nikes can be so expensive you need to take out a loan or sell a kidney to buy a pair. I stumbled on these which were affordable, leather & looked cool. I was nervous because of the tales of the dreaded Nike "squeak"..Still I took a chance & ordered them..So far so good. He loves them, they fit as expected, no squeak so far & he wears them everday. They've been comfortable & seem to be really well made. The box they came in looked like it had been in combat (what's up with that I wonder?) however, the shoes were new & perfect. I'd recommend trying them if you have doubts. UPDATE: Shoes are still in great shape. They seem to be wearing well but they have begun "Squeaking" in both shoes. You won't be Sneaking up on anyone in your Sneakers. UPDATE #2: I took the inserts out of the shoes & sprayed W10-40 in the holes (The attachable straw fits so oddly perfect..: ) I let them air out so his socks wouldn't smell, put the liners back in..Voila! Squeak was gone & hasn't came back so far. He's happier than a clam because he loves the look of these & how comfortable they are. I think Nike could benefit from talking to other shoe brands for advice on fixing this "squeak" issue of theirs.. Lol ... show more

I ordered these shoes recently and they seem comfortable and well made. The only downside of this purchase was the ordering process. Once I placed a pair of men's size 8.5 Air Monarchs in my cart, the cart told me I had added WOMEN'S Air Monarchs to my cart. I double checked to see that I had selected men's shoes, and I had. I almost canceled the order but I figured it was just a typo and I would get the correct shoes. Thankfully I did receive the men's pair that I ordered but Amazon still was telling me that I had ordered a WOMEN's pair throughout the delivery process. Amazon needs to fix this. Good shoe, however this is my second pair and both pair make a squeaking noise. I liked the first pair but made so much noise I bought another pair a few months later and they make the same noise. So I’m looking for a new pair of gym shoes.

    • These "dad shoes" are great!
I've had these shoes for a few months now and they are really sturdy. I walk a lot, and these shoes have withstood all kinds of activity without wear. The black ones really look good, too! I know a lot of people call these "dad shoes", but I can see why these are popular. They are excellent for those that stand up and do physical activities.
