These are the best overnight diapers we've used. The only time it might leak is when my daughter sleeps on her stomach the whole night (~12hrs) and the front of the diaper has to hold all of it. Even then, leakage is minimal (my daughter is 10 months old) and it only gets on her pjs a bit-- never her sheets. I took away a star, though, because as some other reviewers have mentioned, these diapers make your baby smell like a truck stop bathroom. We've used multiple boxes now, so it's not just a fluke. We used to just use her Pampers Swaddlers when she slept, and after 12 hours they never smelled anywhere near as bad (they just didn't hold as much). I can usually already start to smell it if my daughter pees in these once. The smell just smacks us in the face sometimes when we walk into her room in the morning, and sometimes we'll swear she has pooped, but it is just pee. They also make the diaper pail smell so much worse. It never seems to bother her, though, and she is comfortable in them. So as long as they keep me from changing the sheets, I'll keep using them, but if any representatives from Huggies are reading this-- some better deodorizers would go a long way.

My little one is 10 months old and still wakes up about 3-4 times a night. Our regular diaper is the kirkland’s and he will be soaked by 2am. I’m talking peeing through the diaper with his clothes wet. I did some research and decided to get the night diapers. After searching for a while, I bought pampers overnights that’s supposed to stay dry for 12hrs. My baby was up at midnight soaked in pee. I thought maybe I’m not tightening the back properly (more than 2 fingers) so the next day I ensure the diaper was on properly. Again my baby was wet by midnight (4hrs). I decided to buy Huggies overnights after watching some absorption tests videos on YouTube. Yowwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!! My LO woke up once because he was thirsty but then went back to sleep after drinking. When he finally woke up this morning there was no leak. My baby was dryyyyy and mama had a good night rest. Buy it!

Normally I don’t prefer Huggies, but man am I sold on these! So much so that I don’t even consider trying another brand for nighttime. These hold up well for our little one and last about 12 hours without any leaks! Of course, you will get one or two occasions when your child will pee a lot and it might eventually leak, but in over 3 months we’ve had that happen maybe 3 times? I call that a win! The inside back of the diaper at the bottom of the scrunch has a little “pocket”- which is GENUIS for those darn poops that want to become a blowout. Whoever though of adding that little feature is obviously a parent! Highly recommend these if you are looking for a solid diaper for long trips or of course nighttime! UPDATE Aug2022: We’re still big fans and using them!!

*updated review* SIZE UP if your baby is a tummy sleeper that sleeps 10-12 hours straight per night. We were angry at how the diapers would not last through the night and we would have a soaking baby in the morning. I thought to size up to give it a second chance and it changed everything. So at about almost 18 lbs, he's now wearing a size 4 and no more leakage. Again, if you have a tummy sleeper... size up. It will hold. ******* AWFUL. I reallh wish I had read these reviews before purchace. My son is 17.8 lbs, we use size 3... and every morning he's soaked at the front. We are washing clothes more frequently because of this. To make it worse, I think just the regular Huggies size 3 diaper holds better through the night! Don't waste your money, please. Really don't.

I'm not sure what makes these that much different than other brands but anything else gave my eldest daughter hives in sensitive areas. She is now out of diapers and pull ups all together but these were always our go to and will continue to be as long as we're invited to babyshowers.

My son has used Huggies Overnites since he was 2 months old. It has never leaked, never gave him a diaper rash, never gave us any problems. We put one on him after his bath and change it the next day at 6AM. When he was younger, the smell of urine was worse than now when he is 11 months. I was fine with it since I did not want diapers to cover up scents. I prefer if it would smell bad, thus prompting me to change the diaper and avoiding a diaper rash. It didn't really smell until around 4AM. The Overnites worked well for us for almost a year and we aren't switching unless it miraculously stops performing well. Well worth every penny!

These diapers are a must have as a parent. The normal diapers just don't hold enough at night time. No more bed sheet changes in the middle of the night with these. it allows you to sleep long because your kid can sleep longer without the middle of the night diaper change. Parents do your self a favor buy these. We have used them with two kids now and they have never let us down.
