I work midnights so have to sleep during the day and was having a hard time sleeping. I got these curtains and it’s a GAME CHANGER! I sleep like a baby now. They’re so dark and keep light out so well, i don’t even know what time it is when i wake up. At first it’s so dark i would freak out thinking i was late for work when it’s only 1 in the afternoon. BUY THEM. the material is super nice and they were easy to put up. I didn’t even have a rod to put them on, i just used subtle thumb tacks. These work great for what I need them for! The sizing is a little off/awkward (I measured my windows and bought the closest size) but they’re a lot better than I expected and do a good job of keeping out the sun while I’m not home. For reference, the sun beats directly through those windows on most days and it barely gets past these. These curtains have saved my sleep. They do an amazing job of blocking out light and temperature, keeping my usually hot/drafty room cool during the summer and warm during the winter. When I put these up, there was a major difference. My room was a lot darker, and now I can enjoy watching Movies and TV shows again. I was looking for blackout curtains for my nursery. Im very pleased with the quality. From my pictures you can see what the nursery looks like with the curtains & roman shades open. It was an overcast day. I closed both curtains and the room is perfect for a sleeping baby in midday! Furthermore, the room temp is cooler making nap time comfortable. (I live in a high humidity & temp climate.) I hung them using a rod & curtain rings to give the curtain more length at the bottom, thats why you see light at the top of the curtain. I would recommend adding a blind or roman shade with the curtain to get optimal blackout performance. The curtain is very soft making it easy to steam, pleat, & train. ... show more
