Now almost every room in my house has Nicetown curtains. This set has made my bedroom cozy & light. I wanted curtains that were blackout yet still allowed for my room to be light& bright in the daytime. These do the job and I couldn’t be happier with them. I for sure recommend them.

Mistakenly I ordered the “Ivory” color and I loved it (darker ones pictured” it is very thin, lightweight and the texture very realistic. I thought it was what I was looking for but I was looking for white color. Ordered white (pictured) and doesn’t look like the Ivory color… it is thicker and the texture is different, the feel as well. I’ll keep it anyways bc I haven't find a better option! ... show more

    • Great Blackout, Heavy, Not Easy To Slide

ITEM: NICETOWN 100% Absolutely Blackout Linen Curtains (Beige, 95") PROS: - These truly are blackout. They keep our bedroom completely dark. You will have to overlap on the edges though and have a compatible rod, so make sure to measure. - The length is accurate and it is possible to hem them at home. - For the beige, the color is accurate to what’s shown, which has historically been a huge issue for me when getting curtains online. - 2-piece package babbbbyyy! - These are heavy. After testing them with an open window, they have great draft prevention power. NEUTRALS: - It definitely holds wrinkles, from both packaging and any manipulation. CONS: - Holy hell trying to open/close these by sliding is difficult. I would only get them if you don’t really intend on moving them often or use clip rings. WOULD I PURCHASE?: Yes, in terms of specific use for blackout and not opening and closing them, they’re pretty great. At $46.95 (at the time of writing) I think they’re fairly priced. CONCLUSION: These really are blackout (but make sure you have an l-rod the will allow them to cover the edges) and are heavy - great at draft prevention. They do wrinkle and hold any manipulation though, and are really difficult to slide if they’re directly on a bar. Overall, I’d recommend them.
