I’m picky about chairs like these. Usually won’t buy online without trying. I did these and I’m keeping the. Here’s why. 1. Portability - needed something light, and would collapse in the smallest form factor when not using. 2. Price - I have good chairs already - these were specific for the beach. We do the beach a few times a year - so shelling out bigger $ wasn’t worth it. 3. Comfort is OK, not great, not good, but acceptable. The metal bar under the front of your legs is a pressure point after a while. It doesn’t recline and there are no arm adjustments. If the chair size fits you - it’s ok, but if you need any adjustment for comfort, buy something else. If you’re looking for long lasting quality, look elsewhere. But - if you want cheap, attractive, functional, small chairs that will get you thru a season or two - you should consider these. ... show more

This is my second purchase of these chairs. The first set lasted 3 years, and we go to the beach every weekend. They are easy to fold and pack away. They also do not weigh too much to easily carry. They are comfortable to sit in for hours. Every so often sand will get stuck in the chair leg which makes it hard to fold, but a quick wipe off of the sand and the problem is solved. ... show more

I am very disappointed to report that BOTH of our chairs broke in the exact same way on the same day (literally within about 30 minutes of each other). The attached pictures are not from one chair but from the two separate chairs we purchased. In both cases the stitching that is used to create the fold that the support goes into essentially unraveled. The fabric did not tear, just the stitching gave way. We are well under the weight guideline suggested in the description. Unfortunately for us, this occurred about a week after the 'No longer eligible for return' date so I am basically out $80. I would like the seller to do the right thing and offer to refund anyway. It is too bad because all the other elements of the chairs are great -- we really loved them. But they are no good if they fall apart after three uses. ... show more
