I love these mats because they are sticky, durable, and once they become covered in cat hair or dog hair (I have both), they are cheap enough that I don't feel bad throwing them out. I use my mats nearly every single day and these have held up well for me. I do use a dedicated mat for stickers and a dedicated mat for vinyl, as I find that my machines cut a both a little differently. I'm amending my initial review. Yes, the cutting mats are very sticky, I really needed more mats so I decided to use a cloth to make them less sticky. Did the trick. I'm giving it 4 stars. First what I like: the mat itself is very sturdy and doesn't bend easily. I was so excited until I tried to take my 65 lb card stock off the mat. The paper tore and I had to scrape much of it off the matt. The mat grip is much more like a standard grip mat. I couldn't use the mats for what I needed. Let me explain my reason for the ratings I gave: This is a hard one to rate with the listed rating categories. Adhesion is fantastic but not for the purpose it was meant for. So gave adhesion a 5 because it's super sticky. The value for my money in this instance is very low thus the reason for a rating of 1 as I still need to purchase light grip mats. ... show more
