Tested out this fingerprint timeclock for a few contract employees that work out of my home office. I now have this neat but simple time system to track their hours and it has worked well. The time clock is easy for the employees to use with fingerprint confirmation. Accurate records are easily accessible. The user interface is easy to navigate and intuitive. Seems like a durable unit that will last for a long time. There was a little set up time to get the unit up and running, less than an hour. For a smaller company like mine this is definitely a simple solution. Great value

I ordered this time clock to help keep track of hours. It was very easy to set up right out of the box. You do not need any wifi or complicated software to get it started. The digital screen is bright and the buttons are simple to use. What I really like is that there are no monthly fees to worry about. You can use a fingerprint or a pin code to clock in and out. The fingerprint scanner reads very quickly and does not make you try multiple times. It is a very simple system for keeping track of time and attendance. The machine is sturdy and it even comes with a USB drive so you can easily download your reports. If you need a reliable punch machine for a small business this is a very good option. Overall I am very happy with it and it makes record keeping much easier.

This is a fairly complicated piece of equipment. You’re not gonna be able to do this without following the instructions. Thank goodness the instructions are pretty decent. The device itself is about 4 to 5 in.². It is designed so that you can use fingerprints for employees to login and log out and keep track of their hours. I’m still toying with it trying to figure out how compatible it is to export the data into other timekeeping systems or payroll processing. They appear to be very good quality and I’m shocked at how inexpensive it is the actual installation is fairly quick and easy of just screwing it up into the wall. The hard part is trying to do all the set up and determining how you want to keep track of time and setting up departments and employees and so far personally I would love it if I could just have employees use a Phone app, but that isn’t always an option and this ensures that they do actually have to show up and be here before they go logging in because their fingerprints required.

I picked this up for my small business because I was tired of the idea of paying monthly subscriptions just to track employee hours. For the price, this little machine does exactly what it promises without any hidden fees. The fingerprint scanner is actually surprisingly fast and recognizes people almost instantly, which is great for preventing buddy-punching. It’s also nice that you can set up a PIN as a backup. Getting the device mounted on the wall was a breeze, but I’m giving it 4 stars because the initial software setup takes a little bit of patience. Navigating the menus using the buttons on the machine to add employees and set up the rules takes a few read-throughs of the manual. Also, since it doesn't use WiFi, you have to physically plug in a USB thumb drive to download your payroll reports. It’s really not a huge deal and the Excel sheets it spits out are easy to read, but it is an extra manual step every pay period. Overall, it’s a solid, cost-effective option. If you want a reliable, offline time clock and want to avoid ongoing software fees, this is a great choice—just expect to spend 20 or 30 minutes figuring out the initial setup!

Very difficult to use because the interface is so old school....For example, you have to press #2 button three times to get the letter "C". The fingerprint reader isn't great. I returned it and got a "regular" punch timeclock instead.
