NGK Wire Set: 7mm ultra-low resistance magnetic core, wire wound ignition cable with OEM or better specified spark plug and distributor boots. High temp silicone jacket resists underhood temperatures up to 482 degrees F. High density, premium fiberglass braiding reinforcement over EPDM / silicone inner insulation for superior dielectric strength and excellent cable tensile strength. NGK wire sets are built to meet stringent OEM tolerances for a variety of vehicles. They utilize a construction method known as variable pitch wire winding to create resistance to radio frequency interference. I have always tended to use Japanese parts with my Japanese vehicles (at least when I can), and when I have, I have had great success. I have found that NGK works really well with my Toyota 4x4. No matter how much I abuse things, my NGK parts have never let me down. I have even used NGK disposables like these wires 2-3 times as long as recommended, and while they were not in the best of shape, they always continued to work (that is caps, plugs, wires, etc). These NGK blue spark plug wires are no exception. They are quality made, pre-lubed wires that are numbered! They were also very affordable, which I always appreciate. You can tell the wires are a true silicone type, not the rubber type that can't take the heat. The stock diameter fits my stock looms nicely as well, which is a plus. Last time I bought wires, I was lured in by convenience. Lifetime warranty, not waiting a week for delivery, and saving $3, I thought I found a better deal. After all, NGK doesn't offer a lifetime warranty on many products... So I went with a store brand from a certain orange store that sells duralast products... The wires I bought from them lasted six months. 2 of the wires literally developed holes and were arching against the looms! Are you kidding me? Wire looms are there to ensure the wires are protected. These "lifetime warranty" store wires were so crappy I tossed them immediately. I didn't bother getting another set, because one 70 mile round trip to bail out my wife (who had enough sense to feel the truck was running poorly and stop and call me) was enough! Lesson learned! Go with a good price quality item over the "deal" when you think quality is at stake. NGK has quality and good price. There are likely better wires, but at what cost? For what you pay for these, they are a no brainer. Wires are a disposable as well, so when chosing wires the key is to look for overall value in my opinion. ... show more

Something different about them you can feel the quality, this is the real deal ! Finally something you can install and forget about it ! And at a time when everything is ridiculously over priced not these and fits perfectly , then best of all “knock knock it’s here”dah .

Looks and feels high quality. Much better fit around the sparkplugs than the previous no-name brand from the high street, and yet also cheaper! I'd prefer black rather than the blue because I like a stock-looking engine compartment on my 80s 22RE Toyota, but I care more that it works reliably, which it sure seems to do. (One problem is that the boot on the coil end of the coil/distributor wire was too big to fit into the coil receptacle. Had to swap it out with the boot on the old set. Not a big deal but a bit odd; perhaps my coil is non original.) ... show more
