Our metal furniture was still good but the cushions were old, faded, and had some small holes where squirrels had ‘borrowed’ some of the stuffing. New cushions are not only expensive; it’s difficult to find matching ones when you need different sizes. I had been considering even buying a whole new set of furniture as cushion prices seem to cost almost as much as a new set…and then I found these! I spray painted furniture, added these cushion covers (quick, easy, literally just seconds of time) and added some new inexpensive throw pillows and voila!!!! Looks fantastic! Covers were purchased for chair pads which sit on furniture under a sweet gum tree...that weeps saps throughout the year. That sap has marked cushions and, try as I might, no matter what I've applied to clean, said sap remains. *Note I cannot toss cushions in washer so I clean by hand with a brush, cleaner and hose. I thought these covers would be a quick fix to make the area look nice for a particular event, at least until sap marred them as well. Advance 3-4 months of continual use (and abuse) and I noticed the covers had not only sap, but lots of dirt, bird droppings and other green woodsy grunge imbedded in the fabric. With nothing to lose, I threw them in my washing machine. Much to my surprise...THEY CAME OUT PERFECTLY CLEAN!!! No dirt, no SAP stains. They are a little faded in areas but they've been in continual use for months. I AM SO PLEASED!! The order came with more covers than needed so I should be able to keep them in rotation for years worth of use in a (now) much tidier looking area.

So far I love these. They arrived overnight. I tried them out first thing this morning. They are very soft - like a jersey feel. The standard size fit my seat cushion perfectly. It was of course a bit loose on the seat back cushion (17”) so I remedied that with ribbons tied across to tighten the look. (Some other brands come with clips but I created my own solution!) The color is very nice, true to the color advertised. Since I just got them, I don’t know anything about waterproof quality, fading, or washing, but at this price, I am truly happy to start. I needed these fast and I got what I needed. UPDATE: I am changing my star rating from 4 to 2. I am so disappointed in these covers. I purposefully did not put them out until one or two days before my daughter‘s graduation cookout because I was worried about fading and water damage from rain during the week. They were beautiful for the cookout! However, they faded within a week. You can see the fading in the photos. You can see the original color where accent pillows were on the cushions. I have taken the accent pillows off in hopes that the fading will become continuous, even though it’s not the color I want. I cannot return them because the window for returns was one day before our event. I still haven’t tried to wash them yet. UPDATE 2: We had several days of stormy weather, and the wind blew one of my pillows on its front (exposing the old cushion underneath). When I finally went out to prop it up again after several days of being on its side (approaching two weeks), the inner liner was filled with water! This is a good thing - the water was only there because the old cushion was rained on. The water was trapped inside and the outside was DRY!! After pouring out all the water and draining the actual cushion, I reattached the cover. So while the fading looks absolutely hideous, the waterproof claim is real. I may look into dyeing the cushions so their visual appeal matches their usefulness.

My outdoor cushions were worn and faded but new cushions were just so expensive. My current cushions are also deep and comfortable and nothing came close. I found these covers and gave them a try. They are perfect! Soft jersey knit material- easy on and off. Washable. They stretch well and fit around my current cushions perfectly. As they do not cover the entire back or underside these may not be ideal if the backs of your chairs are more see through or open slats, but our chair backs have a dark mesh so you cannot tell the covers don’t conceal the entire backside. Perfect economical refresh!

I am so glad I found these covers. They fit perfectly over cushions. They have elastic similar to a fitted sheet so there is no trying to squeeze cushions in and zipper like with pillow covers. I have ordered in several colors to change up my decor for the seasons. They was easily and last for multiple seasons even with pretty heavy sun exposure. I am always getting compliments on my furniture because the covers make it look brand new and also protect the original cushions from the elements. Great, inexpensive patio find!
