I am a huge fan of Jumbo Max grips. In the beginning I was skeptical of this product. I have used most every type of golf grip going back to full leather wrapped grips from the 1960s. There are several really good grip brands out there. Before landing on Jumbo Max, I used Golf Pride more than all the others. The greatest attributes to golf grips for me are feel, durability, and the ability to perform in all conditions. The Jumbo Max grips are superior in two of my three key attributes. The Jumbo Max are equally as good as Golf Pride in feel. Jumbo Max grips are superior in durability and all conditions performance. I play and/or practice a lot. My grips get used and I would have to change out Golf Pride four times in a year. My first set of Jumbo Max lasted 18-months before I changed them. Highly durable, which makes them well worth the price. And, they retain good grippiness in all conditions. Now, don’t get me wrong, when it’s raining where everything is getting soaked … Jumbo Max is tough to grip too, but if you use two wet weather gloves you’ll get a better purchase on Jumbo Max than you will on Golf Pride.

Love the large grips. Have been using them for months and they remain easy to grip. They are very light, great quality, and had no effect on the clubs swing weight.

For the “handie” golf it will change your game. You will have to be deliberate with your hands now. Now you’re in control of your club. Displacement is a thing of the past . I absolutely love them

Did not disappoint! Never going back to regular grips again!!! These fill the hand and add another level of touch and feel to your game, not to mention I’m averaging 3-5 yards further with each club now!

I purchased these grips after reading / seeing positive reviews about usage of oversized grips and I wanted to increase swingweight without a commensurate increase in overall weight. These grips feel similar to those from WINN ... I hope they prove to be more durable than those from that manufacturer. I have yet to finish regripping my Mizuno irons ... I will try them out soon. My initial findings: 1. They are not 20-25% lighter than the Golf Pride MCC +4 grips they replaced. They're about 4 grams lighter. 2. The impact to swingweight ... My irons changed from D0.3 to D3.5 (on average). My driver increased from D5 to D6. 3. I finally got to try them out during a round of golf. It took me 3 holes to get used to the change in grip size and its attendant impact on my swing. After getting acclimated, I found that I could hit my irons higher than before (a pleasant surprise), but distance has been impacted on wedges. The thicker grips are causing me to swing them slower, with a more open face, resulting in higher flight and a drop in yardage. I hope this loss is temporary; I can't afford to lose any more distance. I will have to spend some time at the range.
