This dress is pretty nice. I wasn’t expecting much based on the mixed reviews -but on sale at 14.99… I took a chance. I got the blue & green floral print in size large. I am 5’7” and 170 lbs. I recently lost 50 lbs. I will be traveling to an all inclusive resort in the Caribbean and need a few dresses for dinners throughout the week and not a huge budget for buying multiple dresses. Enter this dress at clearance price. I would never normally buy something like this but it is surprisingly flattering and disguises my belly area. I have not washed it yet. It came folded and I feel like I can wear it out of the package, it’s not super wrinkly or sloppy. The material is kind of like bathing suit or athletic material? It’s not my favorite and I do worry about breathability at a Caribbean resort. But I don’t think you can tell the fabric quality from a distance. The spaghetti straps are adjustable. I do wish it was slightly longer length. For the price and my needing several dinner dresses for the resort - I can make it work for the trip! I am considering buying others that are discounted at $20 or less. I would not spend $30-$40 full price on these though! Also thank you to the other reviewer who posted a pic of herself in this. I wouldn’t have chosen it but have similar coloring & features and blue eyes and you made me step outside my comfort and try it! ... show more

Wear some shorts or Spanx under this dress! It is beautiful, washed up well, and held its shape. However, I found that wearing it on a windy cruise will show everything if you don't cover yourself, given the high slit and lightweight fabric. It was perfect for my Hawaiian trip. Cute dress. I am 5’5” and 130 pounds. I ordered a medium and the overall fit is nice. The slit is really hidden which can be nice for some but not for others who expect the slit to be noticeable. Super cute and comfy. I’m 5ft, 105 lbs and it fits nicely. I even like the length of it. Also love that it has an extra layer in the butt area so it’s not see through. The straps are the only thing I don’t love about it as they’re a bit flimsy and annoying. Washes just fine
