Beautiful ring! You can honestly not tell it’s not a real diamond, it sparkles just as much as my diamond wedding set. I’ve not had it long enough to comment on if it will tarnish or not but I’ll update later. It’s a very comfortable ring & true to size. I bought an eternity band here on Amazon to go with it & they match up perfectly. From the review pics the center stone looked offset from top to bottom with the band it’s sold with. I knew that would’ve drove my ocd crazy so that’s the only reason I bought the extra band. If that doesn’t bother you then it won’t be an issue. Buying the extra band did balance it out though. It’s very good quality and a great value for the money. I can leave my wedding set at home when we go on vacations & not worry about them getting lost or stolen(although I would be disappointed if these were stolen, but they are much easier to replace than my wedding set)

My husband recently lost his wedding band at a hotel we stayed at, and it really showed us the reality of losing something that special. We were both devastated. My engagement ring and wedding band are both family heirlooms, so it suddenly became a priority to purchase a travel set to avoid this happening again. This set had a few great reviews already and I loved the overall look of it, so I took the chance for a fairly affordable price. Because my engagement ring was an heirloom and we didn’t get to pick something out, we designed a custom moissanite and white gold ring with a jeweler a few anniversaries ago. It is absolutely beautiful and introduced me to the durability and quality of the stone, so having experience with moissanite already, I figured I could make a fair comparison with this Newshe set. The ring comes packaged in a nice gift box. It is very lightweight and stamped inside the band as 925 silver. My engagement ring is a size 6.5 which is my usual size. I read some reviews on some of the company’s other rings and saw people reporting that they felt the bands ran small, so I sized up to an 8. It’s a tad bit big but still gives enough tug that I don’t fear it randomly falling off or moving around. My fingers are sort of short and small though, so others may have a different experience. At first glance, I wasn’t super impressed. In the early morning light of my home bathroom, the ring looked dull and a bit cloudy, and the weight of the silver made it feel a sorta cheap. Bummer. After some thought, I decided this may not be a fair assessment so I put it on for the day and went to work, thinking I could give a more honest analysis in actual daylight and after a day of regular wear. My final opinion is that it really is quite nice. The stone is bright and completely clear, and in the sunlight, gives off just the right amount of sparkle. Moissanite can run slightly yellow, but this stone is definitely clear. The stone is bigger than both my engagement and anniversary rings, so I felt a bit silly wearing it at first but it’s not SO big that it screams fake or costume jewelry. Being silver, it is quite lightweight on the finger in comparison to gold, but that helps with comfort throughout the day. So far, I have not seen any tarnishing or green oxidation on my skin. The setting has stones around all four sides and I like the detailing in the design. It is a higher prong setting, which I’m not used to, so I did snag it on stuff a few times throughout the day but that’s more a me problem than a ring problem. The price is affordable for what it is and, in the end, I’m satisfied with keeping this as my regular “travel” set. So, the TL;DR (with pics in different lighting): 💍Does it feel like “real” gold? No. Not at all. It feels very light. 💍Is it a clear, “real” looking stone? Yes, very clear, but can look a bit dull/cloudy in lower light and from certain angles. 💍True to size? As a 6.5 wearing an 8 in this, I would say not really, but that’s dependent on the person. 💍 Too much like costume jewelry? No, it’s a pretty neutral style any of my fellow millennial friends might wear 💍 Sparkly? Yes definitely — but like any ring, this depends on lighting!

I was very excited to receive this! It sadly was a little too large though and kept constantly spinning on my finger and was bothersome. The large diamond also looked nothing like the pictures (sparkly and beautiful and realistic), and looked more like dull cubic zirconia or costume jewelry in person. Wish it would have worked out. I'm so bummed, as it had great reviews. However, all the reviews were for the oval one and not this emerald cut one.
