I saw this and thought it would be perfect to store office supplies in my new home office space. My desk and chair are perched high, so the height of this unit did not quite serve my needs. However, a set of furniture risers fixed that so it’s easier to access. As an engineer and business owner, I have a variety of design supplies and office supplies to store. This allows me to have these necessities at my fingertips. The black finish is subtle and professional and the unit is more substantial than I anticipated. It took me about 90 minutes to assemble on my own. Assembly tip: make sure the screws on the sides of the drawers (holding the rails) are flush with the drawer or else they will catch and the drawers won’t slide easily. Once I corrected this, they slide really smoothly. Five drawers gives me a lot of ways to organize my stuff, but with an overall 24-inch height, it makes the drawers pretty shallow. Having one deep drawer (a double-height drawer) at the top or bottom would have been nice. Overall, this nifty shelving system will get a lot of use. I was pleasantly surprised by its sturdiness. It could have many uses…office, craft station, utility room items, pantry, even toiletries in the bathroom. My only complaint is that the drawers are a bit shallow, so it limits the type of items you can store. As long as you’re aware of the height limitation, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

I didn’t have this 6 months before the drawers started stalling and the bottoms started bending. The front of the drawers won’t stay on. It looks terrible

this was very difficult for me and my boyfriend to put together. the small screws that come with it are so hard to screw in all the way, even with a electric screwdriver they still won’t go in all the way i think that they might be too long for the drawers? i’m not sure, but if they’re not screwed in perfectly then the drawers get stuck when you try to push them in and pull them out, so right now i have to deal with the drawers not working properly. it took us about 3 hours and majority of the time was spent trying to get those screws on right, but everything else was simple not too hard except that the drawers are built very weird and kind of difficult to put together as well. i’ve built my vanity and my shoe rack by myself which was the same engineered wood and very similar steps and never had any problems like this even with the help of my boyfriend. i definitely do NOT recommend for 60 dollars when the drawers don’t even close right.

The product is sturdy and as pictured once it's assembled, but the assembly was a pain! The directions were clear, but the screws didn't fit in to be flat like they were supposed to so it took way longer then expected to put together and had to stop often for sore hands. I will not order again solely off the work of the assembly.
