I need to protect my oak kitchen table when my grandchildren visit. This is the second one of this design that I have purchased. The price is all right and I just love this pattern. I have an oval table. I put my new tablecloth in the dryer with a damp towel on high for just about 10 minutes. It is hot when I retrieve it and put it on the table. This gets the packaging wrinkles out. It doesn't recommend the dryer because it can get too hot and it will melt... so I do this very carefully. Also, I sew 1/4" elastic around the inside edge and it becomes a fitted tablecloth that doesn't slip and slide. I have purchased fitted tablecloths but they are always a tad too small. I love the texture and the thickness of the vinyl. It wipes clean very easily. ... show more

Bought this due mainly to color and price, so I was very pleased when it arrived to find that it looked prettier than I imagined from the photo. After spreading it out on the table, both my husband and I decided we really liked it due to its color, its pattern, and its subtler-than-you-might-think brightness for a holiday table: it's cheery, but not gaudy. It goes with everyday as well as holiday place settings, and it's very easy to keep clean.
