I decided to count it to make sure I got 500. Did not want young man to be disappointed. I counted 499. Knew I could have miscounted by 1. Decided to put it together. Was wrong, it is missing TWO PIECES! So, I got 498! MISSING 2 BORDER PIECES. Had it come to me across country to check out, then mail to him! So, now I have a defunct puzzle! Excellent quality, piece of snap satisfyingly into place! Vivid colors and great detail. The puzzle is great as a gift or for yourself. This will last for years to come. The pieces are cut into untraditional shapes making it even more interesting.
