I recently tried this Dead Sea mud mask, and I have to say, I'm really impressed. The first thing I noticed was how silky and smooth the texture of the mask was. It was easy to apply, and it went on smoothly without any clumps or bumps. After letting the mask sit for a few minutes, I could feel it working its magic. It started to tighten and dry on my skin, and I could feel a slight tingling sensation. So unless you use this daily, which you might, you will own this jar for the rest of your life. My wife used this several times, an perhaps I even used it once or twice, and we barely made a dent. Luckily this is almost the same, but better because I love that it has the tea tree oil in it. When I opened the jar I see only 2/3 in there and it is very dried out so hard to use finger to take it out to put on face, but if you maybe spray some water in there might help loosen it up and make it easier to apply to face! Common Sense review: this is not a facelift in a jar or a chemical peel. If you have acne or blackheads, they will not be miraculously gone when you wash this mask off. My skin: 'normal', not oily or dry. No acne or blackheads. Hyper sensitive to anything with fragrance, or possibly anything at all. I had clogged pores causing occasional eruptions, so I bought a noncomedogenic cream, and wanted to clear my pores first. My procedure: The label and other sources recommend taking a shower or steaming your face before using a mask. I don't get hung up on 'opening pores' - they don't open and close like windows. Plus when I wash off a mask at the sink, everything winds up drenched. Instead, I wash my face with warm water, apply the mask with a silicone spatula, time 10 minutes, then go in the shower and rinse it off. When I'm out, I rinse with cool water, pat dry, and Moisturize. Unless your skin is an oil slick, you really need to moisturize after using this mask. My hypersensitive skin tingles a bit during and after but doesn't burn. After first use: My skin looked brighter and like I just finished a workout. Most of the pores were noticeably cleared. I just used it for a second time and my skin looks even better. Recommended, but don't expect instant miracles. ... show more

I used this mask tonight and my face felt really soft & hydrated after I washed it off so that's a plus! However, it did not tighten my pores when it was on my skin (like other masks do) & I also had a lot red in my cheeks afterwards probably due to the turmeric. I always wanted to try mud mask and i notices a price drop at its lowest $14.95. The sea mud mask paste got a stronger smell, not pungent but once you wash it off its very refreshing an organic. All the essential ingredient infused and condensed into a very thick paste. I have a oil face and it get dry very quick. Whenever I came back from work at the beach, my face is always very oil and wanted to take a shower right now, hopefully it will wash all the excess oil away; sadly it doesn't really work. This product really does the job, but i will suggest applying some "CeraVe Moisturizing Cream" right after you wash away the your face and excess sea mask. Your skin can get pretty dry easily haha 10/10 would give it a try ! ... show more
