I have had a steelcase leap v2 for like 5 years. Great chair, but the armrests did eventually start to deteriorate, at which point I started picking at it and made it far worse. These replacements were incredibly simple to install and my chair lives again.

I purchased a "refurbished" Steelcase Amia. The mechanical parts are in good shape, but the reupholstery work is ... very poor quality. I ordered these replacement pads on the strength of reviews stating they fit the Amia. They are a perfect fit! The center-to-center hole spacings are 1-5/8 by 7-9/16. As others state, the mounting holes are not threaded, so I ran a screw down partway to cut threads before attaching the pads to the chair. I can't speak to their longevity yet, but the quality seems good at 1/3 the cost of Steelcase replacements. ... show more

    • Easy to install
It fits perfectly and it is much better than the bubbling arm pads that I had recently. However, It is firmer than the OE arm pads and you do have to thread the cylinders the screws go in. Which was pretty easy to do.

These arm pads made a great replacement for my OEM arm pads that were falling apart on me. They are stiffer and not as soft as the original pads. As some people have mentioned, they are not pre-threaded but you won't need anything other than a Torx T20 to install these. I am very pleased with the quality for the price! ... show more

Good replacement arm pads for the steelcase amia chair. They're not as soft, more stiff, as the original arm pads, but still have decent cushion in my opinion. Notes for new buyers: The screw holes are not pre-threaded as they're only pre-drilled, so be sure to take the screws from the old arm rest pads and screw straight down into the holes and then remove them before installing the new pads. And don't over tighten as the plastic housing for the holes is softer than the original pads. ... show more

This does not fit a Steelcase Leap V2. It is significantly smaller and does not wrap around the edge of the plastic armrest. I double checked before and after that this is the chair I had and that it matches the product description. It matches, but the product description is false. The padding is less squishy, but I find these replacements to be a little more comfortable than the stock pads. Your mileage may vary. As for quality, they are as nice as the stock pads.
