Now that I have used tear away, I feel like I don’t ever want to use cut away again! This is a great product. I precut the sizes that fit my different hoops and keep them in drawers so I don’t have to do it right when I need it. The thickness is just the right stability for all of the projects I have done. I’ve washed several items and it doesn’t get sticky or fall apart. I am usually always able to tear the stabilizer away but for the few products where I have had to leave it, it is very soft, and even softer after I put it through the washing machine a few times.

Good product. Being a newbie, I had to hoop, re- hoop and hoop again and it didn't rip or shred. It tore easily when I wanted it to remove it from the material. I didn't realize this is size just a little small for a 4x4 hoop. I'll order a larger size next time but I'll stick with this brand.
