    • The most comfortable sneakers I own
I recently started walking and needed a pair of everyday shoes so after searching what seemed like forever I came across these. The reviews were great so I figured I’d try them, great decision. I suffer from chronic pain and nerve damage and my feet are one area affected by this. It’s hard to find a shoe that gives me comfort with walking. These give me comfort throughout, was one of the sneakers that came in wide sizes at an affordable price and are cute. After reading the reviews I went half a size up which was good advice, I wear a 9 and got the 9 1/2 my toe is closer to the front so I do recommend but if you wear a wide and go up 1/2 a size get the regular width. Mine gap a little at the ankle but it’s nothing that tying your lace tighter can’t fix. I would recommend them especially if you have issues with your feet ... show more

Edited on 1/8/25: Just received my second pair of these shoes. I ordered the first pair last spring and really liked them. I'm editing this review as the seller did not do an adequate job of packaging the shoes for shipment. I've attached photos. They didn't put the shoe box inside of a mailing box, they just wrapped it in plastic. The shoe box arrived torn and mangled. Thankfully the shoes are okay and weren't damaged. I've been wearing New Balance shoes for years and have had several pairs of version 7. They look great and have nice arch, my feet feel really stable wearing the shoes. I just wish they had more cushion in the toe area near the ball of my feet. The pair I received had obviously been returned. There wasn't the usual tissue paper in the toe of the shoes which wasn't a big deal. What was really gross was the shoes were full of someone's pet pet's fur, yuck! I'm a huge animal lover but I don't want someone else's dog or cat fur in my brand new pair of shoes! ... show more

These are my absolute favourite models from New Balance, and I was so delighted to find them at a great price on Amazon when my last pair finally wore out. I've been to the New Balance outlets recently and the cheapest I could find a pair of running shoes there even with coupons and discounts was $56+ tax. And that wasn't the model I wanted. It seems like moving forward, New Balance are going very much into the 'fresh foam' style shoes. Which is frustrating because I have worn New Balance runners for 12+ years now, and that is not my style at all. I don't find them comfortable for long periods of running / walking. I would suggest though, unless someone knows that they specifically want this model, to either Try Before You Buy - or try going to a local running store and try them on. Strangely this pair seems slightly smaller than my previous pairs - and the shoe laces are definitely shorter. I'm assuming it'll stretch after I break them in properly but for sure, they're slightly on the smaller side for the size I always wear. I love these, I have a small wide foot, I get a 6.5 and they’re very comfortable for my high instep and high arch. I use them for walking and until I find a shoe that fits for Pickle Ball I’m using them for Pickle Ball. I have no problem with them..

    • Good shoe, inconsistent sizing
I bought a pair of these at the start of the school year and wore them almost every day while teaching. One got a hole in the fabric so I bought a new pair in a different color, same size. The other pair for perfectly, but these are tight enough that I can barely tie the laces. It's fine, I plan to replace the laces anyway, but the inconsistent sizing is annoying. It seems like every pair of New Balance shoes needs a different size. I used to shop at the outlet and I'd try on two different styles in the same size and one would be too loose and the other would be too tight. That said, if you can find a pair that fit, they're good shoes, which is why I keep buying them. I have arthritis in one ankle and these are the best brand I've found that allows me to do what I love: be on my feet all day teaching. ... show more

I've warn New Balance running / trail shoes for approx. 44 years. This model looks and fits more like the models of many years ago which I much prefer. The newer models with "fresh form" (What ever the heck that is.) feels cheap, unsupportive and the over all shoes were nothing like the New Balance shoes I've warn for decades sending 2 pairs back to Amazon. Then, I sent another pair back (Don't have model number here.), because they didn't fit true to size and ran small. These fit perfect as have 95% of the models I have warn over all these years!
