Shoes have been difficult as of late...in December 2022 I had my heel and Achilles reconstructed. After surgery I found my normal shoes to difficult to wear. They hurt my incision and were really tight due to swelling. I have the slip on version of these and they have been comfy and soft. I first bought another New Balance trail running shoe Size 10 Wide. No matter what they are just insanely uncomfortable on my foot. They just felt too short on the problem foot. Size 11 wide is just too big! So I scoured an affordable option under $50 and came across these on "sale". I've had them on for an hour walking around the house and it seems to be a good choice! The heel box is soft and all the material is stretchyish. They have black laces instead of the white in pic but they may have white in the box...I went with a size 10.5 Wide...I'm in S Texas and barely wear socks so I don't have any on with them but I would need thinner socks than what I have. This weekend will be the test we have a big fundraiser and I will be on my feet a lot. ... show more

    • Great Looking Shoe But Runs Half Size Too Small

I like the appearance of this shoe but could fit but without any room for even a thin sock. Would recommend but size up. Not sure how to rate for activity since didn't test them for either walking or working out.

Lightweight sneakers. Wore them 4 days in a row for lots of walking & sightseeing, right out of the box, no need to break them in. They're nice cause they're not as clunky and chunky as some sneakers. I have several pairs of NB and the sizing is always consistent. Wouldn't wear these for running or heavy duty fitness walking, but these are excellent for every day wear, travel, sightseeing, etc...Definitely would recommend. ... show more

I do love these but they run small I’m a true 7 and I had to exchange for 7.5 and honest should’ve got an 8 maybe even 8,5!! They’re snug!

    • Hold up well
I actually bought these for my 11 year old boy. He goes through shoes like crazy. He has actually had these a while though. They have lasted better than any of the other brands I've bought for him so far. He likes them thinks they are comfortable and wash really nicely.
