When I saw these shoes online, I knew I had to have them! I deliberated for days over which size to purchase. Many reviewers mentioned these run small, one review went as far as to say the brand as a whole runs small. I wear a 5 1/2 in almost all shoes. I have a pair of NB shoes in a 6 that fits perfectly,another in a 5 1/2 that fits in the length, but are so narrow they're uncomfortable. These shoes are offered in a Wide and X-Wide....so I purchased a Wide for the first time in my life, 5 1/2 W, they fit PERFECTLY! My only complaint is zero arch support. I replaced the flimsy insert with one of my own and these shoes are perfection. ... show more

    • Nice looking but ran a bit short

These were tight in comparison to my normal size 11. I am a 9.5 in dress shoes and 11 in all my other NB sneakers. They seem like they wove great traction on wet cobblestone which is why I bought the. However I returned. The length was short.

Super comfy and they look good. Probably not the best for true trail running, but I just wanted some comfortable shoes I could be on trails with.

    • Runs small and forces foot to the inside.

Runs small. I wear a size 8, and ordered a size 8.5 wide. It was too small as my toes were hitting the front. Also, because of the extreme rocker (?) of the toe/front of the shoe, when I walked the shoe drove my front foot to the inside. It was almost like the shoe was off balance, with the inside sole lower than the outside sole. Weird! Or, this pair was defective. I returned the shoes as it was too awkward to walk and they screwed up my gait. I was disappointed because they seemed comfortable otherwise, and were attractive, but maybe just too much foam? A very odd shoe.. UPDATE: just learned that this is a “neutral” Shoe, and that the probable reason my foot was forced to the inside is that I’m an over pronator (foot goes to the inside when I walk). Therefore not a good shoe for over pronators. Will be looking for a stability” shoe instead. But all in all a comfortable and nice looking shoe that runs a full size small. ... show more

It’s hard to find wide shoes, and the extra wides for this are very wide. Just what we were looking for. These are THICK soles though. You will be taller in these shoes compared to to a lot of other sneakers.

I absolutely loved these shoes but I tried them on and just went around my house and I twisted my ankle. The sole is a little too high for me. But they felt so supportive. I really truly wished I could have kept them. I was just afraid of twisting my ankle again.
