If you have WIDE FEET get these. They are so comfortable even with a thin sock. The size it perfect fit so true to size. They are very squishy it’s pricey but I think they are worth it. Very durable and breathable great support I got the black and white pair

    • Does not replace the 840 v5 like they say it does
Size: 8.5 X-Wide Color: White/Lilac Glo/White
This is supposed to replace the 840 v.5 which was discontinued. It does not fit the same at all! The toe box is too narrow. The shoe feels cheap. It does not have mesh. I don't know what to buy now as I've purchase the 840v5 for years. What a mistake, New Balance!

I have purchased new balance shoes in the past. They hold up well and are very comfortable, but in this model they run narrower. I have a wide foot and ordered the wide size but it was still too narrow for me. Usually new balance wide is wide enough, but not these ones. Excellent sneakers!! It’s like walking on clouds! I’m plus size and a nurse trying to lose weight so i’m quite literally on my feet all day (12 hour shifts + 5am pre-shift workouts).
