I have Hagglund’s deformity affecting both heels and shoes like these that have a flexible heel cup are ideal to reduce pressure on those areas. I hope New Balance doesn’t stop making these. I have bought every color in a wide that I can get and I am thinking of sandbagging a few pairs in case they go out of stock.

I recently purchased my first pair of New Balance sneakers in quite some time, having previously worn another brand. I remember New Balance's wide width being a bit more accommodating, but these sneakers fit snugly, and I can only wear them with very thin socks. I use them primarily for upper arm workouts and light walking around the track at the gym or in my neighborhood. Given my history of knee replacements and scar tissue in both knees, putting these sneakers on can be challenging due to the heel design, which could benefit from being stiffer. While putting them on my left foot is particularly difficult, my extra-long shoe horn from my knee replacement kit helps, though I sometimes have to improvise with a pen or letter opener when changing after work for an evening workout. Despite these challenges, the sneakers are very comfortable and look great in person, matching the online picture perfectly. I plan to purchase the men's version in hopes they will be a bit wider for cardio (more impact) workouts, while using this pair for everyday activities like shopping and running errands.

I was at the ER yesterday. One of the tech staff was wearing these shoes. Suffering from foot pain for years, I asked her about the shoes. They were her second pair and said they were the most comfortable trainers she had ever had. When I got home I ordered them and they were delivered about an hour ago. She was spot on! These Are the Most Comfortable trainers I have ever worn. I look forward to seeing how they feel after a full day of wear.

I’ve bought these from the store and loved them great fit. You do have to go up a whole size. They are small. They’ve held it really well. But they can’t be worn in the rain. You’ll have wet feet because of the mesh top. I did buy a second pair off Amazon that I wasn’t happy with. They came in a plain box. The stitching didn’t look real good. It just looked off cheap off so I sent them back so I don’t know whether to buy from Amazon again or just go straight from the new Balance store has anybody else had this issue?
