The shoes are comfortable and grippy, but note that they run small. I’m a 9 in everything shoe-wise, but Amazons suggestion that I also go with a 9 in these was incorrect. My toes touch the end of the shoe so I went 9.5. They are narrow, which is good for me, but if you have wide feet, these probably won’t work for you.

After trying 2 other uncomfortable golf shoes I didn’t have great expectations for the New Balance ones. Wrong! Great fit, cute and comfortable. I bought my usual size for athletic shoes which is 1 size larger than flats. I wore them for the driving range a few times then on the golf course- fabulous.

Inaccurate Fit of 1 Shoe: I ordered two pairs of these shoes for my wife. One pair fit perfectly. This review is about the other pair: Out of the box, a cursory look at this pair of shoes showed they did not look the same as the other. One shoe was the correct women's size US 10½ and did fit well. However, the other shoe for the other foot was extremely wide in the heel/ball of the foot. Even though it was labeled U.S. Size 10½, the shoe opening was much wider/greater in circumference in the heel/ball area than any wide-sized pair of shoes we've ever seen. The strange thing is it was only the heel/ball opening of the shoe that was ridiculously wide. The covered area of the shoe (from the arch of the foot forward) appeared to be the correct size and shape. My guess is whoever married that part of the shoe to the heel must have had one heck of a time because the heel section was significantly wider than it was supposed to be. In a nutshell, it looks like someone attached a Size 13 Extra Wide heel section to a 10½ shoe. This pair is being sent back. Because the other pair fit very well and one of these two shoes did also, I'm going to assume this mistake was an aberration and not the norm. Therefore, I will be reordering another pair. I will be sending this pair of shoes back and requesting a full refund.
