Finally a shoe that fits me. I love New Balance. NB design and comfort is great. I tried another brand to switch out. It felt like I was walking on wood. NB is easy to put on and off. Bottom part is not very soft compared to my previous NB. But I don’t walk too much as I used to before. So it’s ok. If you don’t walk for many miles, it’s great sneakers. I got size 81/2.     • Comfortable
These are very comfortable. I do have some complaints though. First, the shoelaces suck. They are too short and they keep untying themselves because the material used on them is super soft. It’s a super hassle to keep having to re-tie my shoes every 5-10 mins. Second, the shoes are very sturdy around the ankles which is great but at the same time not so great for a shoe advertised as a pull on type of shoe. It’s just really difficult to pull on. Third, the loop on the back of the shoe is very very small so it’s difficult to slip my average/small finger through to pull the shoe onto my feet. When I get my finger through and start pulling, it causes a bit of strain because i have to pull really hard and the pressure is put on my finger joint because the loop doesn’t allow much of my finger to pass through. It’s hard to explain without showing. I wouldn’t be surprised if other customers are having a similar issue. And last, I expected a soft foam type of insole because of what the insole has written on it. When I received and felt the insole, it was not soft foam. It’s very hard with a little give and it’s on the thin side. I replaced it with an insole that I planned to use anyways that are nicer for my high arches.     • Comfortable but not enough cushioning for running

I was hoping to replace my NB 840s/940s with these because they're a lot less expensive, but they don't have adequate cushioning for me for running. They're cute, though, and comfortable for walking. Also, they run large, compared to other NB running shoes. I generally wear an 8 in nonathletic shoes and a 9 in running shoes, but I needed an 8.5 in this one. ... show more

I love mine! I wear a size 6 most of the time and I got a 6 and they fit me perfectly! They are comfy but I always have to buy insoles for my sneakers because the arch in my foot gives me tons of pain and problems if it don’t but overall I really like the shoe.

If you have bunions, this is the shoe for you. Totally soft and "yielding" in the toe box. I added my own arch supports for even more comfort.
