First off buy a size bigger. All the reviews that say they run small are true. I bought the black with purple letter & When I opened the box I hated the way they looked. I chose black because I use these on my daily dog walks and my shoes get dirty quickly. So after wearing these I think they will be perfect. Seem to be really well made. I do have to wear orthotics for my high arch. They have a "toe guard" that is really nice because I have over pronation and I wear my shoes off on the inside toe area from the way I walk. This will extend the wear! The tread seems to be of tougher material than other name brands I have been wearing also. Well spent money on these sneakers!

After reading reviews about the small toe box, I ordered a 9.5 - normally I would order a 9 in athletic shoes, but when they arrived the 9.5 were too small in the toe. Ordered a size 10! Fit fine. They do not have much arch support, so I added foot inserts. Other than that, they are lightweight and reasonably priced.

I am a true size 10, and when I first tried these on my toes were hitting the front of the shoe. I have about 10 or 15 miles on them now and they have loosened up a little, but when I am going downhill on a hike I can still feel my toes getting jammed up in the front, but it's not so bad that I can't wear them and I don't end up with pain afterwards. It's just a little annoying. If you can, it's probably best to get a half size up.

These shoes are very comfy! The soles are perfect for hiking with a strong grip. The insoles are supportive but soft to walk on. The shape of the laces stay tied well without double knotting. The pull on loop is actually big enough in the back to get a normal size finger in. The only negative I have is the top loop the laces go in. While they do allow the shoes to be tied a bit higher (plus), it is a bit harder to looses them later. But not a deal breaker! Happy hiking!
