I took out the inserts that came with them and added Dr. Scholl's inserts (purchased separately) for Plantar Fasciitis and it made 100% difference. So I got these to wear to Disneyland as the shoes I have are just not sufficient enough anymore. I went to Disney World recently and my feet were in the worst pain they had ever been so I realized I needed some new ones for when I went to Disneyland. When I tell you these are some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn I am not joking. My feet feel like they are on cloud nine when I wear these. I wore these all Day at Disneyland and Universal for 3 days in a row and my feet barely even hurt. These shoes are my feets' savior. I wore them for about a month off and on before I wore them to Disney so I could break them in. But to be honest if you wore these everyday for a week they break in just fine. When you first wear them your feet may hurt. But trust the process. My feet felt almost tired when I first started wearing them. But after a couple days. Pure bliss for my feet. They also are super cute! Which makes it even better. I was hesitant about getting New Balance as I make fun of my dad for wearing them but these don't look like dad shoes. I have such a hard time finding shoes to fit. But I took a chance on this Prime day deal. I have arthritis in my feet so I need a wide tie box but.my heel is a normal fit. These shoes feel great! I take regular walks as a senior for health and every pair of shoes or sneakers I have always had since I was young has caused blisters in the beginning. I wore these yesterday for my 2 mile walk and No Blisters! Not only that they are comfortable. My only wish is that it had more of an arch, but I knew when I bought these it was the case. They feel so nice on my feet. The toe box has a lot of room and I can wiggle my toes. I ordered them my regular size and they are roomy, but not excessively. I am very pleased with my purchase. They look to be sturdy and I assume that they will wear well.
