These are my favorite shoes & these are my second pair. Only reason I replaced the first pair is cus I wore them down being lazy and shoving my feet into them without untying them. The heels are torn on the inside but this would have been avoided if I had taken better care of them. Totally on me. Everything else about old ones is still solid, comfortable, and supportive. They're leather so they don't rip or tear. Remarkably comfortable. I bought them because they were recommended for plantar fasciitis pain & wide toe box. Completely got rid of my pain & my feet no longer feel cramped. I will say the wear in period was a little weird. They are pretty stiff right out of the box and certainly take a few days to wear in. They are also not super breathable and until they wear in my feet are prone to get a little too hot. This goes away fast I fully expect this pair to last several years of all day every day wear. A decent athletic shoe if it fits your foot. I had a pair of New Balance sneakers years ago that I liked for my gym workouts, so I decided to give this pair a try. Unfortunately, they ran a little short and the toe box was too narrow for my feet, making my toes feel too compressed. Otherwise, they seemed sturdy and well made, with a leather upper and cushioned sole. They're heavier than my mesh Skechers, but for workouts, I wanted the extra foot stability that a leather upper provides. I have loved this style of shoe since 2006. They have not changed their style, comfort, sizing or quality!!!!! I have that platers issue with my feet the sharp pains and somedays it hurts so bad to walk. I can wear these all day and my feet pain is gone. My feet are not tired at night anymore. You don't have to break these in for them to be comfortable! I can't buy these in stores anymore around my area so when I found them on Amazon let me tell you I was excited! My feet are happy so my life is happy! And I got to love the color pink! I'm 44 years old and yeah on the chunky side but these shoes make my everyday life easier to handle. They are super lightweight, the traction on them is so nice, I don't slip on ice, I love they are all leather so they don't rip, they are flexible and super stiff. This New Balance 608 is very comfortable and gives great support to my feet. I love that it comes in Wide also. This is my 3rd time buying this style. Quality is good, good traction, helps with my plantar fasciitis--will not think of buying any other brand.

You are not buying these from Amazon. Seller is any of several marketplace sellers. With shoes that is important because fit is a tricky thing. I ordered my normal size. I just checked again and lusting clearly says sold by Amazon. Yet in the orders page the actual seller is given. Seller allowed return but it took several attempts to get a call tag and long wait in line at post office. In the end I was made whole. I liked the shoe. Width is what we expect in NB but they run just a little short. I ordered my tried and true size but toes were right up against the end. She gets 4 stars. Seller gets 4 stars.
