I really rely on people's detailed reviews before I purchase something, so wanted to provide mine. Normally I have to buy really expensive New Balances (that aren't attractive) given my wide foot, ankle, and high arch issues, so I was hesitant to try these at such a lower price point than I'm used to. I ordered these in a 10.5 Wide and they are truly wide. I need a wide footbed and heal area - because I supinate badly (my ankle rolls outward). The sole isn't squishy, its firm and supportive to keep my ankles stable. The toe style: it isnt roomy, but my toes aren't cramped. Keep in mind, if for some reason you need a true "round" toe for medical issues, or need something more cushioning, these shoes may not be the best for you. They also fit my 3/4th length birkenstock arch support. Finally a shoe that's cute - they don't look like boats or Herman Munster shoes... The laces are really long, and I'll just double tie them. I did notice that the white marking on the inside of the tongue showing the size is "scratchy" on my skin if my sock isn't pulled up high enough. Neither of these are deal breakers that can't be worked around. Given that these are leather and not mesh, I am going to use these specifically in our Texas "cooler" weather for walking and light hiking. They will be too hot during our peak 100+ degree summers. I saw some comments complaining that these are too heavy. That doesn't stand out to me. Of course they are a bit heavier as trainers, and the fit is totally different from my wide mesh Brooks, but to be expected. These are two different shoes for different activities. I am super happy with these!

I picked up a pair of these a couple years ago, only the pink ones instead. I got my usual size 9 1/2 wide. They fit perfectly. They were comfy, the width was almost perfect. So I got this second pair mainly for my job. We have to wear composite toe shoes, and they are destroying my feet and toes. I've tried everything to make them work, but it's just not happening. I have to wear croc type shoes at home just so my feet can recover on my days off. So I found an alternative that would allow me to wear regular tennis shoes like these fortunately. I had to get a size 10 due to my destroyed feet and toes, and got the wide width. These are really working out good. On my feet 10-12 hours a day, hard concrete flooring. I did have to put in different insoles though, the original ones in the shoe are too firm. Just put in a 9.00 pair I got from wallyworld. Once I changed those out, they are almost perfect. They're sturdy and firm, support is good, width is fairly decent-I can wiggle my toes easily. And most importantly, no foot or toe pain anywhere. Couldn't ask for anything better.

This is the best pair of shoes I ever bought. I was having extremely bad pain in my left heel (plantar fasciitis)I could hardly walk n was on my feet at least 9 hours or more a day just at work in constant pain.I purchased 180$ kuru kinetics n they made my feet hurt worse. I also purchased every kind of sketchers work shoes imaginable Must have spent over 1,500$ on sketchers alone. I seen the new balance n was really skeptical about them because I read all this before n it was all the same.... Pain all day long. So after saying what the hell let me try them. Omg... I haven't had pain in months since the first time I wore these shoes.I actually waited a few months before writing this review to make sure they really were a comfortable pain free shoe for plantar fasciitis. I haven't woke up with pain in my foot since purchasing these shoes. They are so soft with awesome arch support n so comfortable . They are stylish n slip resistant . I can't say enough about this shoe. If your having any pain or problems with your feet u don't need to look any further these are the shoes to buy. Unless you want to waste money foolish u can buy some shoes from me. Haha 😂. And they were the cheapest shoes I bought. Go figure

These shoes are great! They are very comfortable and don’t require “breaking in” like a lot of other shoes or sneakers that I have tried. I got them on sale and I think they were totally a bang for your buck purchase. I love the look and feel of them, they’re both comfortable and trendy in a 90s dad way. I don’t slip around while wearing them indoors or outdoors (good traction and pretty good slip resistance.) They do scuff somewhat easily, but I think they’re great shoes.

Very glad I tried these shoes. If you’re on your feet all day they will definitely keep you comfortable. Took a few days to break them in but now I love them. Also super stylish so you could wear these out. I plan to buy another pair just for that. Also fantastic quality. Definitely worth the price and more.

These are GREAT sneakers!!! My last pair of New Balance looked almost exactly like these and lasted about 12 years. They are still in really good shape except the leather on the outside is cracking and peeling. So naturally I am a fan of the brand. I was concerned about ordering the wide width but they give my feet a little extra room and fit perfectly in length. I would highly recommend these New Balance sneakers for the fit, the style, the long term wearability.
