I always buy New Balance because they wear well and are easy on my feet. I usually buy the 940 but they no longer sell them and are on to new styles. I chose these in black and while they are a nice shoe, they are not as supportive as the others. I have to use inserts in my shoes so should have ordered one size up. I do like the looks of them but will still need to find the equivalent of the 940's next time. ... show more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Love these sneakers they're so comfortable and they look great on my feet. I also got them at a really great which was a bonus usually these sneakers are close to $80. I love the dark blue you could dress it up or dress it down. My feet are very particular and not a lot of shoes work These fit accurately and I am a Walker and I'm able to walk all over with these. I also took them to the city because I knew I was going to be doing a lot of walking and my feet were very happy. I’ve worn NB training shoes for years and always love them, but the last 2 years their styles changed to these huge blocky soles that make an already big foot (I wear size 12) look huge. I searched and searched and these are the best option for the slimmest looking foot that still offers support. I really like these simple black and white with a slight purple silver tone. After wearing them for a few weeks now I noticed the insole slides back and my front toe slides forward in the crack between the front of the shoe. No matter how much I adjust they keep sliding. never had this issue w New Balance before. Frustrating ... show more
