I should have checked about how much arch support this sneaker had before I purchased it. I like the way they look but with my high arch, its not that comfortable.

I own several pairs of New Balance shoes and I have never had a problem with them before. The first time I wore these shoes I got a terrible blister on the back of my left heel. At first I thought there was something sharp protruding that was scraping my foot. After investigating further I concluded the problem is the roughness of the fabric. I wore the same ankle socks I wear with my other sneakers without problems. I kept the shoes because I had already walked in them outside. Now I put a band-aid over that spot or wear thick high socks to protect my heel. I also felt it necessary to add arch support inserts into these shoes. I got the wide width but this shoe is so comfortable! The soles were a little to thin but I replaced them. But it's a good shoe.
