I have been looking for several months for a new pair of sneakers. I have purchased and sent back several pairs. A few months ago, I wore an old pair of New Balance tennies to an event and several of my high school students complimented me on them, telling me I looked fancy. I was surprised because I've had them for more than a decade. Turns out, all of my high school girls think New Balance are the "it" shoe right now. So I decided to get myself a new pair! I don't know what took me so long to realize that this was the brand to get for comfort, fit, and style. I wear a 7 1/2, though I have had to get an 8 in several shoe styles recently due to an on-again off-again bunion. These fit perfectly with no rubbing in my normal size of 7 1/2. They are lightweight, so there is no leg fatigue throughout the day. I have been sporting them with my professional attire in my classroom all week since their arrival, much to the applause of my classes. I give these four stars only because I had to return my first pair and go up half a size than what I normally am. Aside from that, these shoes are great! They are comfortable and look very nice. I wear these to work pretty much everyday and I like that they are more dressy than regular tennis shoes but have the comfort and support that a good pair of tennis shoes do. These shoes are the cutest!! I get so many compliments on them. They did not take long to break in. This shoe is very durable and has the perfect arch support. Normally my feet hurt in shoes after an 8 hour shift, but they feel great in this. I thought the sizing was just right.
