The shoes even though marked the same size, were not the same size. The right shoe was actually a half an inch smaller than the left shoe. They are getting returned. I purchased three pairs of New balance women's wide shoes and I'm returning all three pairs. These are my absolute favourite models from New Balance, and I was so delighted to find them at a great price on Amazon when my last pair finally wore out. I've been to the New Balance outlets recently and the cheapest I could find a pair of running shoes there even with coupons and discounts was $56+ tax. And that wasn't the model I wanted. It seems like moving forward, New Balance are going very much into the 'fresh foam' style shoes. Which is frustrating because I have worn New Balance runners for 12+ years now, and that is not my style at all. I don't find them comfortable for long periods of running / walking. I would suggest though, unless someone knows that they specifically want this model, to either Try Before You Buy - or try going to a local running store and try them on. Strangely this pair seems slightly smaller than my previous pairs - and the shoe laces are definitely shorter. I'm assuming it'll stretch after I break them in properly but for sure, they're slightly on the smaller side for the size I always wear. To start right on both shoe the bottom is barely connected. For a "trail" shoe they are very uncomfortable and feet are sore after wearing. I will not buy again.

I thought NBs were comfortable. These shoes weren't. The entire shoe felt tight! I bought these shoes for comfort. Waste of money. Gave them away after sadly wearing them once.

I ordered a 7.5, which is my standard size, but they're almost too small, but not too tight to wear. I wear these to work and they give excellent support and substantial cushioning. They are water resistant and I love the muted touch of purple. I needed all black shoes for work, but the purple is subtle enough that they allowed them to pass by without comment. Just order a half size bigger than your normal size and you'll be happy with your purchase. I will soon be ordering a back up pair in a size 8. ... show more

These shoes are the most uncomfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. I hate them. I’m 38 I’m not hard on my clothing or shoes and these shoes quickly got holes in them. I should have returned them when I first got them but figured I’d give myself time to get use to. BAD IDEA. I hate them.
