This is my 4th pair of this style sneaker. They are comfortable right out of the box and I have walked thousands of steps per day on cobblestone streets in Europe without issue. I ordered size 8, though I was a bit skeptical at first because I have a wide foot and I've heard these shoes is kind of narrow but with my surprised it fit well, and is very comfortable. I have been using it for work, errands, parks and the comfort is just superb. I move a lot in my line of work and never slip. The arch support is just perfect for a whole day walking back and forth. Awesome shoe, fits great! Very lightweight and stylish, popular shoe and comfortable. The only reason for the 4 stars is that the New Balance logo emblem on the shoe is not leather, it’s part of the fabric, which makes the shoe looks cheaper, but that’s just my opinion. It’s a great shoe overall!

These are really great shoes, and immediately comfortable! Love the cool retro, yet minimal look. The tongue takes a little finagling to keep it flat between the top of the shoe and your foot, but isn't too bad (you can see in the photo that the left sides want to fold under. They would be more fun with some more colorful (burnt orange maybe) shoelaces. I haven't worn them for a fair period of time to comment on the longevity of the comfort or wear. ... show more
