Description

The running shoes of the 1970s might best be described as deceptively simple. While lacking the visible technology and aggressive design of later years, the innovations of the ‘70s would lay the foundation for modern performance. The 237 is a contemporary reinterpretation of ‘70s running heritage that melds a range of heritage design inspirations into one deceptively simple, exceptionally versatile, contemporary silhouette. An EVA midsole, herringbone outsole and streamlined upper offer a classic launching point for modern flourishes like oversized N branding, extended midsole length, and gator inspired foxing and mudguard. You could call the cohesion of the 237’s familiar feel and exaggerated updates the simplest way to make a statement.

Color: Sea Salt/Black/Gold Metallic Size: 8.5
Such stylish shoes, and so comfortable. I walked all day in these and no pain whatsoever! They are slip resistant on my hardwood floors and tile floors. They arr super lightweight and true to size. Seem to be very durable considering i wear them alot! Highly reccomend.

  • You’re going to love these!
Color: Nimbus Cloud/White/Moonbeam Size: 8.5
Super comfortable and so cute! Has a nice arch support and for being light in color, they really don’t get very dirty and are easy to wipe clean. Definitely wide foot friendly. Would recommend using a water resistant spray if you plan on being out in the rain with these due to the mesh material. Totally worth the value for the money. Best price around on this style! ... show more

  • Cute print New Balance sneakers
Color: Sea Salt/Black/Gold Metallic Size: 8
Loved the look of these New Balance sneakers but they ran slightly long in toe box compared to my other style New Balance sneakers. I needed to go down a half size. The gum colored sole and leopard print accent are so chic perfect for transitioning into early fall. Great for travel very supportive and comfortable for tours. ... show more

  • These shoes are fantastic, but keep in mind that they tend to run a bit small.
Color: Sea Salt/Silver/Birch/Black Size: 7
These shoes are stylish and well-made, but it's important to note that they tend to run small in sizing. If you're typically between a size 7 and 7.5 in brands like Converse, Vans, Hokas, No Bulls, Reeboks, and Nikes, you may want to consider sizing up for a better fit.

  • Super cute but cheaply made and uncomfortable
Color: Black/Magnet/Sea Salt Size: 8.5
I found reviews helpful here (e.g. buy half a size bigger), so I wanted to share my takeaways from the New Balance 237's. First of all, the shoes look like pics and are super cute. They're all over hip boutiques right now in NYC and Europe, so you'd be on trend buying these. A huge caveat though -- they are SUPER uncomfortable and cheaply made. The shoes feel basically like soft foam and the arch support is non-existent. When I put these on, I can literally see my ankles collapsing inward. They also have no cushioning which means your feet can start hurting if you're spending the whole day walking or on your feet. And for me, all day walking around the city resulted in lower back pain. Fun times. Ouch. I compared against another pair of 'fashion' NB's I have (vs. the higher end running specific pairs), and the other pair were much more comfortable. I ended up buying a really pricey shoe insert ($55) so that the 237's don't mess up my feet, but the combined price point definitely gave me pause. if I know I'm walking long distances, I definitely aim for my Hokas instead. Would I buy these again? Maybe? They're easy enough to slip on for grocery store runs, but I also bought these before the pricing went up 20-30$, so I think I wouldn't pay $80 + $55 for these. YMMV! ... show more
