This is not the normal type of shoe that I would purchase. Yes I purchase new balance but always more of their regular fare. This is an extremely light shoe. Everything is light including the laces. Speaking of the laces, they are so narrow! And they have quite nice specs of different colors in them. The shoe is made of some type of cloth and foam. I have size 10 new balance and these are size 10 Wide and the right foot was just right. Size 10 would probably not have worked out. i was really excited for these shoes but they were honestly terrible. the shoelaces are sewn into the shoes so you can't adjust them, making them a horrible choice for people with wide feet. in my experience, they were very narrow and they had no padding or support.
